Scotch Plains adult resident cardholders may use this form to request that the library purchase a title for the collection. Suggestions from library patrons will be accommodated when the item requested meets the libraries’ selection standards. The Library does not generally purchase school or college textbooks or highly specialized academic titles. If the item is not purchased, we will try to obtain the item through interlibrary loan for the patron’s use when possible. Please see our Collection Development Policy for more information on our selection criteria.

Fanwood residents please contact Fanwood Memorial Library. Purchase requests and inter-library loan requests must be submitted through your home library.

Please note:

• Scotch Plains resident cardholder status will be verified.
• Purchase requests are subject to availability. Some titles are not available in all formats from our vendor.
• Electronic titles may have later release dates than the corresponding print format, resulting in a delay of fulfilling your request.
• Not all electronic books are available in a Kindle e-reader version. If you download ebooks exclusively to a Kindle e-reader (such as a Paperwhite), please let us know in the comments box.
