Bring a chair and join us for an outdoor program with music from the Great American Songbook featuring the Florian Schantz Jazz Combo. This all-ages program will feature many familiar tunes by well known composers like George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and more.

The group’s band leader is Union County-based, 19-year-old professional trumpet player Florian Schantz, who formed the band when he was 9 years old. Florian has performed over 600 engagements across NJ, NY, CT, PA, and Germany, including over 100 libraries.

Also appearing with the group are Rup Chattopadhyay on trombone and tuba, Margaret Schantz on flügelhorn, Cory Ackerman on drums, and Lowell Schantz on guitar.
