September is National Honey Month! Have you ever thought about starting your own beehive?
Certified Master Beekeeper Paula Bal will explain the basics of keeping honey bees. You will learn:
- what makes up a honey bee colony
- the time and equipment it will take to get started, and where to get the bees
- seasonal management throughout a year in the life of a beekeeper
- which pests and pathogens to be aware of.
Registration is recommended for this in-person program.
