Master Gardener Margaret Chowdhury will introduce the Scotch Plains Community Garden and discuss the importance of pollinators in a vegetable patch, followed by a talk about preparing the garden bed for planting and demonstration of how to properly plant a seedling.

This program is part of the Library’s celebration of New Jersey Makers Day and will take place at the Community Garden, 1451 Raritan Road (at the corner or Raritan and Terrill Roads).
