Decide your own fate – make your own fortune cookies! We’ll be making a basic recipe and practicing the folding technique, but also providing ideas for making ~fancy~ variations. For grades 6-12. Register below to receive the Zoom link.

Ingredients you’ll need:

• Flour*
• Sugar*
• Vanilla and/or almond extract
• Salt
• Eggs (2)
• Water
• Optional add-ins: food coloring, cocoa powder, matcha powder, sesame seeds*, chocolate chips*
• Sieve (optional)
• Whisk or electric mixer
• Mixing bowl
• Measuring cups and spoons
• Baking sheet
• Silicone mat or parchment paper
• Spatula
• Glass or mug
• Thin gloves (optional, but recommended!)
