An event every 2 weeks that begins at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, happening 6 times

Do you have memories that you would like to shape into a story that you can share?   


Join local teacher and writer Edie Scher for a series of classes on creating a memoir.  You’ll  be guided through the process of writing, editing, and compiling your chapters in a supportive environment.

This group will meet for six sessions on alternate Wednesdays from 1pm to 2pm.  Scheduled dates are:

  • March 10
  • March 24
  • April 7
  • April 21
  • May 5
  • May 19

This group is for Scotch Plains and Fanwood resident cardholders, and will be limited to five people.

Edie Scher is a writer and teacher of English, whose credits include national publications: The New York Times, Country Living, Cat Fancy, Runners World, Weight Watchers Magazine.  Her work has been included in the McGraw Hill Literature AnthologyA Cup of Comfort Anthology (first prize story winner),  and Chicken Soup for the Soul, (four editions).
