Memoir Writing Group

Do you have memories you would like to shape into a story that you can share?

 

Join local teacher and writer Edie Scher for a series of classes on creating a memoir. You’ll be guided through the process of writing, editing, and compiling your chapters in a supportive environment.

This group will meet for six virtual sessions on certain Wednesdays from 2pm to 3pm. Scheduled dates are:

  • November 17
  • December 1
  • December 15
  • January 5
  • January 19
  • February 2

Space is limited; priority will be given to Scotch Plains and Fanwood resident cardholders. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.

Edie Scher is a writer and teacher of English, whose credits include national publications: The New York Times, Country Living, Cat Fancy, Runners World, Weight Watchers Magazine. Her work has been included in the McGraw Hill Literature Anthology, A Cup of Comfort Anthology (first prize story winner), and Chicken Soup for the Soul, (four editions).
