Our popular “gentle fitness” instructor Yasmin Ofek is offering a special class geared for runners and walkers!
Yasmin’s teaching is informed by her background in many physical disciplines, including yoga, tai-chi, and the Feldenkrais method (also known as ‘Awareness through Movement.’)
She will lead us in some gentle but effective movements to help create a better connection between brain and the body. You will learn how to organize your body to allow your feet to push you forward easily and efficiently, overcoming habitual movement patterns that use excessive strain.
The class will involve sitting and standing alternately, so please have a chair available and wear good sneakers.
Registration is required. Please register no later than 2 hours before the program in order to guarantee your spot. Registered participants will receive a Zoom link via email in advance of the meeting.
