Crafty Mondays: Paper Marbling

July 22 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Paper marbling is a centuries-old art form; its rich, swirling designs have had an enduring appeal.  Long associated with endpapers in fancy books, libraries like to share their hidden treasures on Instagram with the #marbledmonday hashtag!

In this workshop, you’ll make your own decorative card–and with the easy method we’ll show you,  you will be able to create your own beautiful marbled papers at home, too.

Space is limited; please register here.

Registration is required for this program and is limited to Scotch Plains and Fanwood cardholders entering grade 8 through adult.

This year’s summer reading theme is A Universe of Stories. We will explore the depths of outer space and share stories from around the world. Please visit scotlib.readsquared.com to register for summer reading, where you can earn points for reading, attending programs, and other activities.

If you enjoy crafts of any kind, you’ll want to take a look at our new online resource Creativebug!  Creativebug offers art & craft video classes for sewing, quilting, paper, knitting, crochet, food and home, jewelry, and more!
