Stress is unavoidable. We are bombarded daily with stressors, and chronic stress takes a serious toll. Meditation offers a simple yet powerfully effective means to combat stress and literally change the way we respond to it. It helps us think more clearly and stay calm under pressure—both personally and professionally. Susan Wilk will discuss how the practice of meditation benefits us mentally, physically, and emotionally – in just minutes a day. She will lead us in techniques to help us reconnect with our inner peace and calm, using an integrative approach grounded in meditation to help us care for our bodies, minds, and spirits.
Susan Wilk is a certified instructor and veteran meditator who knows firsthand the wide-ranging benefits of meditation and its practical application to daily life. For over 15 years, Susan has taught in personal, business, educational, and healthcare settings. Drawing on her business and legal background, Susan has taught people facing demands of job performance, as well as those in transition. Through No Place Like Aum, LLC and Focused Mind Dynamics, Susan provides personal and business clients with private and group classes, workshops, and seminars.
