Use the library's Lincoln Logs to recreate Little Pigeon Creek, Indiana, Abe Lincoln's boyhood home.

Once again, it is time to recreate Lincoln’s rural boyhood village of Little Pigeon Creek, Indiana entirely in Lincoln Logs! Community members are invited to build the log cabins, farms, general store, meeting house, school, and mills that made up the small rural community in Lincoln’s time. Simple instruction sheets and pre-bagged kits will be distributed, and library staff members and building professionals will be on hand to offer assistance. Families with children in first grade through high school are invited to sign up. Attendance will be limited to 25 families, and pre-registration is required.
