ReadSquared is our online software that SPPL will be using to track our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten and Summer Reading Programs.
Caregivers can create Parent accounts to access all of their children’s information and log materials on one screen.
To log books, switch to your child’s account (using the button with the squared arrows). Select that you want to log a book, and enter the title. You can choose to add this book to more than one child at a time, by checking their names as well. Your point count will indicate how many books have been read. If you have previously logged books on paper logs, we can adjust your totals when you visit the library.
You will receive a message and badge every time you read 100 books, and can visit the library to pick out your physical prize.
