Fueling with Food for Running & A Healthy Lifestyle

Learn some great ways to fuel your exercise and sports activities with healthy food – perfect if you’re planning to run the Scotch Plains Down Town Race to Summer on June 27!
Jennifer Bridgeman is an award-winning baker who specializes in preparing treats that use healthy ingredients and taste delicious. (She was a winner of Inside Jersey magazine’s Best Home Chef 2014 competition with a vegan cupcake recipe!)
She will cover basic nutrition for exercise, and recommend food combinations and when to consume them for optimum energy. There will be a demonstration of two recipes: energy balls and chia pudding. Samples and recipes will be provided to those attending.
This program is for adults (18 years and older).
