- From the Garden State Parkway & Points East
- Take Garden State Parkway to Route 22 West. Follow Route 22 West through the third traffic signal.
Just past McDonald’s there is a right turn marked Scotch Plains/Berkeley Heights, Rt. 78.
Turn right, go to the first traffic light, and turn left. Go over overpass (over Rt. 22) keeping to the right.
As you come off the overpass, bear right onto Park Ave. Approaching the second traffic light, get in the left turn
lane. Immediately after the light, turn left onto Bartle Avenue. The entrance to the library’s parking lot is the
third driveway on the left.
- From Route 78
- Take exit 41 (from either direction); when you get off, follow the signs for Rt. 22.
You will come down a long hill; just before you get to Rt. 22, turn right at the traffic light and take bridge over
Rt. 22, keeping to the right. Turn right onto Park Ave. Approaching the second traffic light, get in the left turn
lane. Immediately after the light, turn left onto Bartle Avenue. The entrance to the library’s parking lot is the
third opening on the left.
- From Route 287, Morristown Area and Points North/West
- Take Rt. 24 East to Rt. 78 West, then follow directions above from Rt. 78.
- From Rt. 287 Somerset Area, Points South/West
- Take Rt. 22 East to Scotch Plains. Look for Snuffy’s Pantagis Renaissance Restaurant on the right.
Go under the overpass and make the next right turn onto Park Ave. Follow directions above from Park Ave.
- From Staten Island
- Take the Goethals Bridge to Rts. 1&9 South to Stiles St. Right on Stiles to St. Georges Ave. Left on St.
Georges to Lake Ave. Right on Lake which becomes Martine. Stay on Martine through the business district of Fanwood.
Martine becomes Park Ave. At Second St., continue straight. Take the next right onto Bartle Ave. The entrance to
the library’s parking lot is the third driveway on the left.
